The course starts with 2 laps of the village. The route then follows an out-and-back course - this goes along the Rissington Road, turning right into Leasow Lane towards Great Rissington, with a turn-point near New Bridge Lane. Upon return into Bourton, having turned left after the post office, there is a 0.75 loop of the village with a finish that is close to the start. It's flat and fast.

Here are some photos of the male Oxfordshire club runners who were in the top 4 of their age category. These photos are ordered by the position of the runner.
Matthew Lock (400, Witney_Road_Runners) was 5th and the 4th SM finishing in a time of 00:33:06.
Stewart Thorp (623, Oxford_City_AC) was the 2nd MV65 finishing in a time of 00:41:27.
If you did the Bourton 10K and want a reminder, then here's a link to all the photos that I took. There's a calculator on that web page that makes it easy to find the photos of a runner given their time and you can find the time from the results web page.
