Longworth is a village that lies between the River Thames and the A420.
It is about 9M SW of Oxford.
The organiser's website
says
"Held every year since 1998 (except 2020 due to covid), this race is held on a multi-terrain course that starts at the east end of Longworth village, goes north to the river, follows the Thames Path National Trail westwards from new Newbridge to Shifford Lock before climbing back up to Hinton and then following a bridleway to finish in front of Longworth Manor."
.
The above map is taken from organiser's website.
A report on the 2021 race says "Special congratulations to Rowan Miell-Ingram for setting a new course record of 33:22. In doing so, he broke the record of 34:33 set by Ian Harkness of Thames H+H, 20 years ago in 2001; and he absolutely smashed the junior record of 36:44 set by Jonty De La Harpe, also of Abingdon School, back in 2015. Very impressive; well done Rowan!"
