For 2021, the Milton Keynes 10K used a venue and course which was different for its usual course from the Open University.
The venue was Willen Lake. "The start was on the leisure route next to Splash 'n' Play." "The race used a flat course, mainly on redways round one anticlockwise loop of the north lake followed by an anticlockwise loop of the whole lake." "The finish was on the redway alongside Brickhill Street."
The Milton Keynes 10K is one of the races of the East Midlands Grand Prix.
