2015 Not the Roman IX

As no races are taking place at the moment, I'm creating some web pages entitled "where I was taking photos this time last year". Today, I'm looking at the Not the Roman IX which takes place from Tiddington, a village that is 2M from Stratford-upon-Avon. It's about 40M from Oxford.

The organiser's website says "the course is all on road and will be a rare 12K distance - it is undulating and some parts of the course will be closed to traffic". I think this year's race was to have taken place today (Jan 31st 2021). Unfortunately, because of Covid-19 it has had to be cancelled.

I've only taken photos of this race on one occasion which was in 2015. So today's review is of that race - it took place on Sun Jan 18th 2015.

Postscript

If you did the Not the Roman IX in 2015 and want a reminder, then here's a link to all the photos that I took. There's a calculator on that web page that enables you to find the photos of a runner given their time and you can find the time from the results web page. However, I don't think the calculator produces very accurate times. I found the 8.5K figure to be about 2 minutes out in some that I looked up.
