As very few races are taking place at the moment, I'm creating some web pages entitled "where I was taking photos this time last year". Today, I'm looking at the Ascott-under-Wychwood Charity 10K which takes place in Ascott-under-Wychwood, a village that is about 20M NW of Oxford.
The organizer's website says "the 10K is a challenging multi-terrain course set in the beautiful Evenlode Valley - it is perfect preparation for the Cross-Country season". There is also a 5K which is described as "a mildly challenging multi-terrain course". It is also in the Evenlode Valley. I only took photos of the 10K. Last year's race took place on Sun Oct 27th 2019 and this year's race was to have taken place today (Sun Oct 25th 2020). Unfortunately, because of Covid-19 it has had to be cancelled.
By the way, you can click on any of the photos on this web page to see the photo in hi-res.

The above map is taken from the organizer's website.

If you did the Ascott-under-Wychwood Charity 10K in 2019 and want a reminder, then here's a link to all the photos that I took. There's a calculator on that web page that makes it easy to find the photos of a runner given their time and you can find the time from the results web page.
If you want to see the reviews I've done on other races, then here's a link to a web page that includes an index of the reviews of races.
I'm planning for my next review to be of Round 1 of the 2019 Oxfordshire XC League that took place near Bicester. I hope to post that on Sunday (Nov 1st 2020).
I maintain a web page for runners that provides a list of races near Oxfordshire and the latest results. As well as a lot of postponed/cancelled races(!), it is now includes several races that plan to abide by the Covid-19 regulations. So go and visit www.oxonraces.com to see what races may take place. And if you use twitter, you may want to follow @oxonraces to become aware of important changes to this web page.
This web page is at www.oxonraces.com/blog/2020-10-25-ascott-under-wychwood. It was created on October 23rd 2020 and last updated on October 24th 2020.
