As very few races are taking place at the moment, I'm creating some web pages entitled "where I was taking photos this time last year". Today, I'm looking at the Woodstock 12 which takes place in the grounds of Blenheim Palace.
The organiser's website says "the Woodstock 12 is 12.15M long - it's three laps of undulating private roads within the picturesque grounds of Blenheim Palace - there is one main hill at 2M, 6M and 10M - this hill takes the runner up to Combe Gate and brings the runner into High Garden, an ancient and undisturbed part of the Blenheim estate - in recent years, the event has been sponsored by The Mythakulon". At last year's race, Benedict Pollard of the Mythakulon gave each finisher one or two acorns to plant - he had collected these from a very old oak.
Last year's race was the 12th race of the Oxfordshire AA Grand Prix. It took place on Sat Sep 14th. This year's race was to have taken place on Sat Oct 17th. Unfortunately, because of Covid-19, it has had to be cancelled.
By the way, you can click on any of the photos on this web page to see the photo in hi-res.

The above map is taken from the organiser's website.

If you did the Woodstock 12 in 2019 and want a reminder, then here's a link to all the photos that I took. There's a calculator on that web page that makes it easy to find the photos of a runner given their time and you can find the time from the results web page.
If you want to see the reviews I've done on other races, then here's a link to a web page that includes an index of the reviews of races.
I'm planning for my next review to be of the 2019 Hanney 5. I hope to post that on Sun Oct 4th 2020.
I maintain a web page for runners that provides a list of races near Oxfordshire and the latest results. As well as a lot of postponed/cancelled races(!), it is now includes several races that plan to abide by the Covid-19 regulations. So go and visit www.oxonraces.com to see what races may take place. And if you use twitter, you may want to follow @oxonraces to become aware of important changes to this web page.
This web page is at www.oxonraces.com/blog/2020-10-17-woodstock. It was created on September 25th 2020 and last updated on September 26th 2020.
