As very few races are taking place at the moment, I'm creating some web pages entitled "where I was taking photos this time last year". Today, I'm looking at the 2019 Buckingham 10K.
The organiser's website says "the Buckingham 10K is a beautiful, multi-terrain route, starting in Buckingham Town Centre, taking in Stowe Avenue, Stowe Landscape Gardens and farmland. It's an undulating route - plenty of small ups and downs to challenge the more hardened runner, but not big enough to deter a first timer! - it takes you along the path that runs parallel to Stowe Avenue, until approx 3K when you take a turn into Stowe Gardens for a lovely scenic loop around the gardens and farmland, then back down Stowe Avenue to the finish". Unfortunately, this year's race has had to be cancelled.
Last year's race took place on Sun Oct 13th 2019. It was a very wet morning for both the runners and my camera (and me)! My lens didn't like it at all - condensation starting to build up between the filter in front of the lens and the lens itself. So some of the photos I took are "misty". And there are no photos between 10:18:48 and 10:21:03 because I went back to my car to put on a different lens. I wished I'd done that earlier!
By the way, you can click on any of the photos on this web page to see the photo in hi-res.

If you did the Buckingham 10K in 2019 and want a reminder, then here's a link to all the photos that I took. You can find the results of the race on the results web page.
If you want to see the reviews I've done on other races, then here's a link to a web page that includes an index of the reviews of races.
I'm planning for my next review to be of the 2019 Frieth Hilly 10K. I plan to post that on Sun Oct 18th 2020.
I maintain a web page for runners that provides a list of races near Oxfordshire and the latest results. As well as a lot of postponed/cancelled races(!), it is now includes several races that plan to abide by the Covid-19 regulations. So go and visit www.oxonraces.com to see what races may take place. And if you use twitter, you may want to follow @oxonraces to become aware of important changes to this web page.
This web page is at www.oxonraces.com/blog/2020-10-11-buckingham. It was created on October 4th 2020 and last updated on October 10th 2020.
