As races are not taking place at the moment, I'm creating some web pages entitled "where I was taking photos this time last year". Today, I'm looking at the Hooky 6 which starts/finishes in Hook Norton.
The organiser's website says "This 6M course takes you on an undulating two-lap route around the beautiful village of Hook Norton - starting and finishing on the grass at the Hook Norton Social Club the main race is suitable for all abilities (16 years and up) - there is also a 1M fun run." Last year's race took place on Sun Aug 4th 2019 and this year's race was to have taken place today (Sun Aug 2nd 2020). Unfortunately, because of Covid-19 it has had to be cancelled.
By the way, you can click on any of the photos on this web page to see the photo in hi-res.

The above map is taken from mapmyrun.

If you did the Hooky 6 in 2019 and want a reminder, then here's a link to all the photos that I took. There's a calculator on that web page that makes it easy to find the photos of a runner given their time and you can find the time from the results web page.
If you want to see the reviews I've done on other races, then here's a link to a web page that includes an index of the reviews of races.
I'm planning for my next review to be of the 2019 Alchester 5K. I hope to post that on Wednesday Aug 12th 2020.
I maintain a web page for runners that provides a list of races near Oxfordshire and the latest results. As well as a lot of postponed/cancelled races(!), it is now beginning to includes some races that plan to abide by the Covid-19 regulations. So go and visit www.oxonraces.com to see what races may take place. And if you use twitter, you may want to follow @oxonraces to become aware of important changes to this web page.
This web page is at www.oxonraces.com/blog/2020-08-02-hook-norton. It was created on July 31st 2020 and last updated on August 2nd 2020.
